ABOUT US

Who We Are.

Kingdom of God Evangelical Church is open-armed and welcoming to any and all. It is our desire to show the love of God. As we come together in our individual Christian walk, we aim to provide each person with the opportunity to grow as God would have them grow.

Meet Our Pastor.

Pastor Bob Peet was born on April 5, 1961, in El Segundo, California. Without a Bible background in his early years, Bob found his initial passion in motorcycle racing, setting records and experiencing notable highs and lows in his career. He graduated from Kingman High School in 1979 and spent the next two decades away.

In 1987, amidst a tumultuous period in his life, Bob attended a church and said the "Sinners Prayer," marking the beginning of his spiritual journey. He balanced this newfound faith with a career in comedy and motorcycle stunts, sharing stages with renowned artists and performing nationwide.

In 2000, Bob retired from stunts, opened a bar in Kingman, and met his future wife, Sandee. They married in 2001. By 2003, Bob began attending Praise Chapel, where his dedication to studying the Bible grew.

Bob preached at Praise Chapel for nearly six years through the "Jacobs Ladder" program. Sensing a calling to start his own church, he and Sandee closed their bar in 2013 to focus on ministry. They established The Kingdom of God Baptist Church, with the first service held on March 2, 2013.

Today, Pastor Bob and Sandee lead the church together, with Sandee also serving as the lead singer in the band. Their teamwork and dedication continue to inspire their congregation.

Statement of Beliefs.

  • We believe in one God, infinite and perfect, the Creator and Sustainer of the universe who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and desire to share His love in personal relationship with everyone.

  • We believe in God the Father who is sovereign over all. In His loving and just nature, He forgives the repentant and condemns the unrepentant.

  • We believe in one God, the Son, who became incarnate in Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. He gave Himself on the cross as the complete and final sacrifice for our sins. As our risen Lord, He is the mediator between God the Father and mankind.

  • We believe in God the Holy Spirit, who comforts, gives spiritual birth to believers, lives within them, and empowers them for witnessing and service.

  • We believe the Holy Spirit inspired the Scriptures, convicts us of sin, and instructs us in righteousness.

  • We believe that Jesus Christ's life and teachings are recorded in the Bible, which is the supreme interpreter of God's will for mankind.

  • We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is our final authority in matters of faith and practice.

  • We believe we are all sinners in need of a Savior. Our only salvation is through Jesus Christ and our willingness to accept, believe that He died, and that God raised Him from the dead. We must repent and turn from our sins so that we can enjoy eternal life with God in heaven.

  • We believe that the church, being believers in Christ Jesus, is one spiritual body with Christ as the head. We believe that the local church is a community where we can gather together and grow in our spiritual walk, in knowledge, and obedience.

  • We believe the baptism of believers in obedience to Christ's command is a witness to the acceptance of Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

  • We believe in the baptism by immersion as a symbol of death to sin and a pledge to new life in Him.

  • We believe that the Lord's Supper commemorates the suffering and death of our Redeemer until He comes, symbolizing union in Christ and pledging renewed allegiance to our risen Lord.

  • We believe that the Sabbath, being the seventh day, should be a day of rest and celebration with the Lord.

  • We believe that we, as believers, should follow Christ's command to make disciples of all nations.

  • We believe that we cannot be snatched away from the hand of Christ, but we have free will and the ability to willfully continue to sin.
